Secluded and Peaceful Bourbon Street Sanctuary

Welcome home to your charming, historic, and private guest house located just off Bourbon Street in the center of the French Quarter... Once you step inside the front gate, follow the old pathway to the rear of the property through the lush brick courtyard to your home away from home during your foray into the excitement and history of the French Quarter. This monthly rental is in the center of all the action on Bourbon Street but tucked away at the rear of the property so that you can escape the hustle and bustle. The two story brick dependency was built in 1885 and now boasts a large eat-in kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, and spacious bathroom. There are plenty of chairs and tables to enjoy the courtyard as well as a 2nd floor balcony to take in the sunsets. We have a communal laundry room off the courtyard which is shared by the other units in the building, but is always available for your use at no cost. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for a long stay and we have plenty of space for groceries. There is a desk in every room and a very fast wifi mesh system throughout the property is case you are remotely working while here. There are plenty of towels, spare linens, and we can even offer a bi-weekly housekeeping service (for a fee) if requested. You can park your bike, scooter, or moped securely inside the courtyard and we also occasionally have a parking space available (for a monthly fee) for rent about a block away if you have a vehicle with you. The parking space is on a first come, first served basis so please inquire before assuming you can use it. With this rental you will have full access to the entrance hall, shared rear courtyard, and shared laundry room. Your unit is completely private and does not share a wall with any other unit, however there are three additional units in the main house who share the common areas. You can't get any closer to the action with this unique guesthouse yet have the privacy as the guesthouse is nicely nestled in the back. A block from the historic LaFitte Pub and walking distance to just about every historic landmark within the French Quarter. Walking is ideal however numerous carriage tours and a close walk to the city trolley car is nearby. If you are sensitive to noise, people, smells, and general commotion then the French Quarter is not for you. This is an active and busy part of town, especially on the weekends. If you want to experience the real French Quarter at its fullest, then we are the spot for you but if you're looking for solitude then I would recommend looking for a spot in the Garden District or the Bywater.
